Yup. I have to claim them. They are mine and minus a very expensive procedure, I really can't get rid of them. The freckles are here to stay. It's a love- hate relationship I guess and after a short conversation with a friend about them ( and for some reason they like them). I must say, I am still not convinced I appreciate them You see, EVERYONE that says they are cute or give character...are ones who do NOT have them. I have yet to meet someone with a porcelain face that wishes they HAD the freckles...but would only be the first to admit they are cute on someone else.
However, they are here to stay so I can only embrace the following stanza from a poem by

You may have heard it, it's gaining popularity due to its presence on an Ireland tourism commercial. I must admit it is a little endearing and gives a slight enchantment to what I would otherwise call a small imperfection ;)
